All strength comes from God, who is the very giver of life. Anyone who pridefully thinks they don't need God has neglected the fact that the strength they already have was given to them by God as a grace. True strength is found in our humility and understanding of this truth.
As James 1:13-15 explains, God cannot be tempted by evil, nor does he tempt anyone. We are tempted by our own lusts and evil desires. We must take responsibility for our temptations, and take refuge in the fact that we will never experience temptation beyond what we can handle. As children of God, we have conquered the world just as Jesus has. We must resolve to be strong and faithful.
1 Corinthians 10:13
No temptation has taken you but such as man can bear. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation make also the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it.
1 John 5:4
For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. This is the victory that has overcome the world: your faith.
James 1:12
Blessed is the man who endures temptation, for when he has been approved, he will receive the crown of life, which the Lord promised to those who love him.
1 Corinthians 16:13
Watch! Stand firm in the faith! Be men! Be strong!
Peace is found when we understand that God is the source of all strength, and we are completely dependent on Him. Without His free gifts of life and strength, we would be nothing.
A God who gives such valuable gifts for free is not likely to abandon us. Rather, He is our light and our salvation. He is our strength and our life. And He will give life eternally to those who obey and are faithful to Jesus Christ, which is promised through His Spirit of Truth and Love.
Psalms 27:1
Yahweh is my light and my salvation. Whom shall I fear? Yahweh is the strength of my life. Of whom shall I be afraid?

God is the very Creator of the universe. Who can stand against Him? He knows all and is almighty.
Philippians 4:12-13
I know how to be humbled, and I know also how to abound. In everything and in all things have I learned the secret both to be filled and to be hungry, both to abound and to be in need. I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me.
